Kilkenny U14-15 team win Leinster

Kilkenny U14-15 team of 6 played Carlow in Garyhill, Carlow in the Leinster Final. The first game saw JJ English Goresbridge and Padraig Cooney Clogh play Joey Curtis and Alan Hosey Carlow, the Kilkenny pair got off to a great start leading 8-4 but the Carlow pair kept fighting hard to win the first game 15-13, the second game saw JJ and Padraig come out fighting and eventually getting some great serving and handball skills going and even a few kills winning the game 15-7 leaving Kilkenny up by 6 aces going into the second game. The second pair was Conor Lyons and Adam Clifford St Canices who played Paddy Shanahan and Damien Jordan Carlow, like the first pair started off great but the Carlow pair never gave up and won the game 15-7, the second game saw Conor and Adam displaying some great serves and skills and winning the game 15-6 leaving Kilkenny up by 7 aces going into the last game. The third pair was Pauly Clifford St. Canices and Dylan Caulfield Kilfane take on Jim O Leary and David Nolan Carlow. Pauly and Dylan went into the game making sure the Leinster title was coming to Kilkenny like the other lads displaying great serves, handball skills and kills winning the game 15-3. At this stage Kilkenny were 65 points and Carlow were 46 points. Kilkenny subs Daragh O Shea Windgap and Conor Dwyer St Canices played the final game with a great battle between the four players with Carlow winning the game 15-8. Overall score Kilkenny 73 Carlow 61. Congratulations to all the players on a great performace on winning the U14-15 team of 6 Leinster Final under the guidance of Eddie English Goresbridge and Michael O Shea Windgap.
