All Ireland teams

The All Ireland teams took place in Kilkenny on Sunday. The U12/13 team was held in Clogh and the U16/17 team was held in Talbots Inch. Both teams got bys in the All Ireland semi finals. The U12/13 team of 6 were pipped by the narrowest of margins 73-72 by Tipperary. On the team were Kyle Dunne, Jamie Maher, Billy O Neill, Jack Buggy, Eamonn Brennan, Dylan Crehan, Tom Holden, Jack Doyle with Coaches Noel Holden and Michael Maher. The U16/17 team of 4 were also dft in the final. On the team were David Doyle, Nick O Shea, Rory Lodge, Conor Fahey, Shay Reilly. Hard luck to both teams.



Intervarsities Finals were held in Kilkenny over the weekend with alot of local handballers participating. The Ladies Open Final saw Ciara Mahon Clogh represent TCD dft Aishling O Keeffe DCU, Ciara teamed up with Lisa McKenna Dublin and they won the Ladies Open Doubles Final. Ladies A Singles final saw Catherine Foley Windgap represent DIT dft Lisa McKenna TCD.



Colleges Leinster finals took place on Saturday in various venues in Kilkenny, Carlow and Wexford. A big number of Kilkenny schools claimed Leinster titles. The following were winners:

First year boys Tom Holden Grennan College, Thomastown

Junior Singles Jack Holden Grennan College, Thomastown

Junior Doubles Ciaran Cooney and Eoin Regan Castlecomer Community School

Intermediate Doubles Padraig Cooney and Shane Dunne Castlecomer Community School

Senior Doubles Marc Purcell and Aidan Barry Castlecomer Community School

First Year Girls Roisin O Keeffe Grennan College, Thomastown dft Edel Mulholland Presentation College, Kilkenny

Girls Junior Singles Aoife Holden Grennan College, Thomastown

Girls Junior doubles Dearbhail O Keeffe/Ailish O Shea Grennan College, Thomastown

Girls Intermediate Doubles Aoilean Hennessy and Caitriona Lawlor Castlecomer Community School

Girls Senior Singles Denise Love Castlecomer Community School and Senior singles Dylan Caulfield Grennan College, Thomastown were both defeated in the final.
