This Saturday at Abbeylara, Longford, Ducksie Walsh and Ciara Mahon attempt to reach their respective Senior 60x30 All Ireland finals. Ducksie Walsh, winner of 16 All Ireland Senior 60x30 Singles championships will start as the underdog against the reigning champion,Eoin Kennedy (Dublin) in his semi final clash. The Dubliner is expected to record a comfortable win, however, any slip ups by the Liffeysider will give encouragement to the Talbots Inch star, and will more than likely be punished by the Talbots Inch legend.

In the Ladies championship, Ciara Mahon from Clogh will play Martina McMahon (Limerick) in what will be her first Senior 60x30 semi final appearance. The Munster player will be favourite to advance to the decider, but, hopefully, not before a tough battle with the North Kilkenny player.

In the Doubles championship,Ducksie and Ciáran Neary have great chance of reaching the decider when they play Limerick's C.J.Fitzpaterick and Evan Murphy on Saturday week in a semi final clash.

In the AlI Ireland Minor grade, two Kilkenny players make the long journey to Tyrone to play local opposition in semi final matches. Shane Dunne (Clogh) and Aoife Holden (Kilfane) will be confident going into their matches, and hopefully progress to the final.
